DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Shake well and apply mousse generously to the skin 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply frequently and after swimming, exercising or
towelling. Apply liberally and evenly until the product looks and feels ‘wet’ on the skin. Wait a few minutes until the mousse is dry before swimming or putting on clothes. Your skin should be non-sticky after 5 mins. Otherwise you may have used too much! Do not apply directly to the face. Spray onto hands and then apply to the face. Do not apply in windy conditions. Use in a well-ventilated area and do not consume. Store below 30°C/86°F.

Always read the label. Avoid prolonged high risk sun exposure.

Wear a hat, protective clothing and sunglasses when exposed to the sun.

  • WhipScreen™ is a funscreen for the whole family. We set out to create a sunscreen young people actually want to use. Unlike regular sunscreens, WhipScreen™ is designed to be lightweight and fast absorbing, with no sticky residue or white cast. It’s suitable for all skin types and is water resistant for two hours. 

    Plus it smells good enough to eat – but hey kids, don’t try
    that at home!

  • WhipScreen™ is an ideal sunscreen for kids. Its nozzle doesn’t need to be turned upside down to apply, making it easy for little hands to use.
    The directional spray and quick absorption means less mess – and less waste.

    We’re also proud to support the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute, a world leading health research facility whose goal is to imagine a better future for our children.

  • The TGA recommends at least 7 teaspoons (35ml) of regular
    sunscreen to cover your whole face and body safely, front and back. WhipScreen™ is a mousse, though, so we need to imagine it a little differently. To ensure full coverage for your face, ears and back of your neck, we recommend
    dispensing enough mousse to cover half your hand (about a golf ball sized amount). Then continue with the same ‘golf ball’ sized amounts for each arm, each leg, your chest, tummy and back.

  • WhipScreen™ is made by Barefoot Labs, an Australian company founded by me, Dina. Products are made in Australia and are compliant with
    Therapeutic Goods administration (TGA) regulations, which are some of the strongest SPF guidelines in the world.

  • Absolutely! WhipScreen™ has been stringently tested and is free from parabens, sulphates and alcohol. It adheres to the
    highest Australian therapeutic standards. With its weightless formula and added Vitamin E, it helps to moisturise skin and won’t clog pores. SPF50 broad spectrum protection helps reduce the damaging effects of sun exposure.

    WhipScreen™ is safe to use on kids and adults, faces and bodies. Just don’t eat it!

  • It sure is. All Barefoot Labs products are also palm oil free and contain no nano plastic particles, which are harmful to the environment. 

  • Yes, for up to two hours. Remember, sunscreen should always be reapplied at least every two hours, irrespective of the water resistance of the sunscreen.

    Swimming, sport, sweating and towel drying can reduce the effectiveness of all sunscreen products, so make sure you’re reapplying, too, if you get wet, wet, wet.

  • You bet! And it’s not just OK, wearing broad spectrum sunscreen every day is recommended especially in Australia, which has some of the world’s highest ultraviolet (UV) ratings.

Fantastic product for sensory kids!

My child has ASD and it’s a screaming fight to put sunscreen on every day with big meltdowns and can stop us from going out. I bought this as a last hope try and it is an absolute game changer for us! I never imagined excitement to put on sunscreen! And trying to put it on before bed because they love the smell. I recently tried the Whipscreen SPF50 Sunscreen Mousse Twin Pack from Barefoot Labs, and I must say, it’s a fantastic product that ticks all the boxes when it comes to sun protection. As an active Aussie who spends plenty of time outdoors, I’m always on the lookout for sunscreen that’s effective, easy to apply, and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy or sticky and I don’t have to fight with the kids to put on. This mousse does not disappoint!

First off, the mousse texture is a real standout. It’s light, airy, and absorbs into the skin super quickly, leaving no heavy residue behind. I’ve tried creams that feel thick and uncomfortable, but Whipscreen is different—it feels almost weightless. The kids were able to do it themselves which made sunscreen time so much fun! The SPF50 protection gives me peace of mind knowing we are all well shielded from both UVA and UVB rays.
